Paper Scope

Currently, we are working on developing a foldscope (microscope made out of paper) that can be attached to a phone to capture images of blood cells. The foldscope we are making will be very affordable and efficient to help facilitate the process of malaria detection for lab technicians.

Hello world!

Hello welcome to Research in Early Malaria Detection,

Malaria is an endemic disease with a transmission that occurs in large areas of Central and South America, Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the South Pacific. Our goal with this project is to develop a more efficient, accurate, and cost-effective method to detect malaria at an early stage and to provide access to malaria testing in endemic areas.
